This Copyright Policy sets out our position on the use, reuse, and protection of editorial material published on digitallylearn.com under the Indian Copyright Act 1957 and applicable international treaties to which India is a signatory.
Ownership
All knowledge-base articles, current-affairs briefings, test questions, option-wise explanations, original visuals, design, code, and the Digitally Learn name and logo are the intellectual property of Digitally Learn or its licensors. They are protected under the Indian Copyright Act 1957 and related laws.
Permitted reuse
Educational reuse of short excerpts is encouraged. The following uses do not require prior approval, provided the source is acknowledged prominently and a link back to the original page is included:
- Quoting up to 300 words from any article in academic essays, research notes, classroom material, or personal study notes.
- Citing a chart, table, or short data passage with a visible “Source: digitallylearn.com” credit and a link to the original page.
- Sharing article URLs on social media, in study groups, and in newsletters.
- Reproducing a single article in full only when (a) the source is prominently acknowledged, (b) a working back-link to the original page is present, and (c) the material is not used in a derogatory or misleading context.
Restricted uses
The following uses are not permitted without separate written permission from Digitally Learn:
- Republishing more than one article on a third-party site or mirror.
- Selling, sub-licensing, or commercial redistribution of any material.
- Removing copyright notices, attribution, or watermarks.
- Scraping or systematic downloading at scale, including for AI training, search-engine indexing beyond standard robot access, or any automated republishing.
- Use of Test Series questions and explanations outside the personal preparation use granted to paying subscribers.
- Use that misrepresents Digitally Learn’s editorial line or implies endorsement.
Third-party content
Some material referenced on this website (photographs, datasets, charts, quoted passages) belongs to third parties. The permissions above do not extend to third-party material; you must obtain permission from the relevant rights-holder before reusing it. Where third-party material is identifiable on our pages, we credit the source.
Commissioned and contributed material
Where Digitally Learn commissions or accepts contributions from external authors, the copyright assignment is governed by a separate contributor agreement. The terms of that agreement override these defaults for the relevant material.
Takedown and copyright complaint
If you believe content on digitallylearn.com infringes your copyright, send a notice to mail@digitallylearn.com with:
- Your full name, contact details, and a statement of your relationship to the copyrighted work.
- A description of the work claimed to be infringed, with references or links sufficient to identify it.
- The exact URL on digitallylearn.com where the alleged infringement appears.
- A statement that the use is not authorised by you, your agent, or the law, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We acknowledge takedown notices within 48 hours and resolve verified claims within 7 working days. We may remove the disputed material pending resolution. If you believe a takedown was issued in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the same details.
Repeat-infringer policy
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users or contributors found to be repeated infringers of third-party copyright.
Trademarks
“Digitally Learn” and the Digitally Learn logo are unregistered trademarks of Digitally Learn. Use of the name or logo to identify our editorial work is permitted within the reuse-with-attribution framework above; any other use requires written permission.
